jøøªøãÇø}YòéøÕøÓYòøüðøüúÖøðøü j!grat-svapna-su`upti`u – in the wakeful, dream and also in the deep sleep states; òÕøü¢¾Çøáø sphu>atar! – that which is very clearly evident; $oø¸;ÛÙøÇø+ ujj$mbhate – shines in all beings; òøúÛ×øÇø} sambit – consciousness (in whose presence everything is known); Þøø y! – that which; Õøãø+Çøø prot! – embedded and indwelling; ×øãöÜøùÌ brahm!di – from Brahm! (creator) onwards; ùÕøÕøûúæ¡¢øÒÇø pipilik!nta – up to the ant; ÇøÒøüðøü tanu`u – all living bodies; jøªøÇø}Yòøøú¦ømøû jagat-s!k`i@i – which is the witness (for) all worldly activities; òø %éø !øôÛø} sa eva aham – He alone is I; Òø na – not; ²ø ca – and; Ì;íÞø d$_ya – to be perceived; éøòÇøü vastu – as an object; “úÇø iti – thus; Ì;ÄYÕøã¹øø d$?ha-praj<! – firm understanding; !øùÕø api – also; ÞøòÞø yasya – whose; !øúòÇø ²ø+Çø} asti cet – it remains verily the same; !øòÇøü astu – maybe he is; ²øøm®øæ: c!@?!la/ – the downtrodden (outcaste) c!@?!la; òø Çøü sa tu – in the same way; !øòÇøü ùÌêjø: astu dvija/ – maybe he is a learned Brahmin; ÛøÛø mama – mine; ÛøÒøûðøø mani`! – firm understanding; %ðø: e`a/ – this(the adorable one who inculcates this concept); ªøü): “úÇø guru/ iti – is adorable as my teacher.
The Consciousness that which is very clearly evident and shines in all beings in the wakeful, dream and also in the deep sleep states is embedded in all living bodies starting from Brahm! (the creator) up to the ant, which is the witness (for), all worldly activities, that Consciousness is alone me (That I am) and I am not anything that is experienced. Thus, whoever so has this firm understanding all the time, whether he is a downtrodden (outcaste) c!@?!la or is a learned Brahmin, he is as adorable as my teacher, this is my firm conviction.
