Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is also the Mahant of Goraksh Peeth in Gorakhpur, performed the Kumari Puja (Kanya Pujan) ceremony at the Gorakhnath temple. On 25th Oct (Sunday), he told media, that in Indian culture, the role of a ‘mother’ is revered and the ‘Kanya Pujan’ symbolized the power.
Yogi Adityanath did Pada Pooja for the Kumrais and served food to the young girl children.
Earlier, Yogi Adityanath performed pooja at Goraknath Temple.
