Mistakes and Crime
If any action hurts a person or oneself either physically or mentally, we call that action a mistake. That too that action must not have done intentionally nor with knowledge. That’s why mistakes are bound to happen. Especially we being Human beings, being endowed with the self-judgmental faculty, will make some mistakes in our life, but that mistake must not get converted into a crime.
When a mistake is repeated with a sense of enjoyment and in the process others are affected, whereas the person who commits does not bother about its consequences but feels proud of doing so, is called a crime, and who does is called a criminal.
Mistakes and crime are part of a poisonous cycle. If it is not understood properly then in the name of mistakes people commit crimes. And moreover, if the criminal is not stopped from committing crimes, he will keep committing crimes after crimes. As he has polluted his mind and will pollute other’s minds too. He will lose control over himself. Time will come when he will commit crimes even without any reason.
As an infant is forcefully stopped from consuming soil, so also it is necessary to stop a criminal from committing crimes. That is not punishment, but it is sympathy.
