The stupidity(being comfortable with one’s own mistakes) of the living being.
This direct question could be paraphrased and asked to one’s own self as ‘In reality, when are you sleeping or when is one sleeping?’ The sleep referred to here is not normal sleep. It refers to the stupidity of a person. Stupidity is being comfortable with one’s own mistakes and repeating them. While each and every person has the right to make mistakes, the important aspect is that one does not have the right to repeat the same mistakes.
Whenever we follow a pattern of functioning, we consciously or subconsciously start to be in unity or in acceptance with that pattern. This is what leads to the repetition of mistakes. When this pattern of repeating the same mistake is observed in one’s life then it clearly shows that one is sleeping and definitely requires to be woken up, similar to a person in normal sleep who is woken up by someone with a jerk. It will be extremely uncomfortable for the person who is being woken up as he is being challenged which makes him react in unprecedented ways. Hence it is extremely essential to never ever be comfortable with one’s own mistakes.
